Hi

Im analysing some impact scenarios on pipes in abaqus explicit and wants to model the impact area with solid elements and the rest with shell elements. Any ideas on how to model the connection between the two element types in the CAE module? I've looked at MPCs but it seems to only be applicable in the input file...
