Ansys Working File

(OP)
Hi everyone. I am just new with Ansys. My question is pretty simple for most of you guys but I need to know it. How can I open the Ansys Workbench model file done by other Ansys user? Say, someone modeled and analyzed a certain problem and I want that he will give me a copy of the whole model (inputs & outputs). Should I request for the **.wbpj files? and what are the other related files needed along with this file so that I can open it?

RE: Ansys Working File

Hi,

I am quite new with Ansys as well, but I think the best way is that the previous user archives the project.
In Workbench: file, archive. A *.wbpz file is created, that is the one you have to open (Again in Workbench: File, restore archive)
