Hi All
Need your help. We need to reduce 1.5 meters of an Air Receiver built according to BS 487 Standard I think back in 1960. Material composition after chemical analysis are:

For Dom End: C-0.17 Si-0.01 Mn-0.74 P-0.013 S-0.022 Cr-0.01 Mo<0.01 Ni-0.06 Al<0.01 Cu-0.06 Nb<0.01 Ti-<0.01 V<0.01

For Shell End: C-0.23 Si-0.01 Mn-0.71 P-0.014 S-0.028 Cr-0.02 Mo0.01 Ni-0.06 Al<0.01 Cu-0.09 Nb<0.01 Ti-<0.01 V<0.01

On the bases of that can you please confirm which existing standard we should follow and also confirm welding process and recommended welding consumable.

Please come back to me as soon as possible.
Thanks
Nadeem
