Accessing a fixed ladder from an inclined walkway

Accessing a fixed ladder from an inclined walkway

(OP)
Hello,

I am trying to find any OSHA regulations regarding transitions from an inclined walkway to a fixed ladder. The ladder to be is at the midpoint of an inclined walkway that runs alongside a conveyor. I cant seem to find any guidance on how to deal with this. My first reaction was to place a landing at the base of the ladder, to provide a level step off for a worker coming down. This seems like a trip hazard for those traveling the walkway though. Any suggestions?
