Non Conformance Reduction

Non Conformance Reduction

Non Conformance Reduction

(OP)
Hey guys,
Good to be here and happy to find all these feedback from you wonderful professionals

I was going to ask if anyone has an idea about general Non Conformance reduction in production and Fill & PAck area. I think it's a good question and it can affect us all in one way or another.
I know it's a vague question and people can ask well; follow the SOPs and there will be non conformances. But it's not very easy. Would like to know if anyone knows a book with regards to Non Conformances.
How we try to make an Action Plan to address the key root causes?
Thanks in Advance

Action Plan
1. Record nonconformances.
2. For each nonconformance,
trace it back through the process to find the root cause.
Recurse.
3. Record the root causes found.
4. For each root cause,
find a way to eliminate the cause or mitigate its effects.
Recurse.
5. Document what you did.
6. Assign someone to keep you from repeating the same stupid mistakes.
This is not an "in addition to your other responsibilities" job.
For a nontrivial company, it's a full time job, maybe a full time department.
