Pipe Material For Boiler Piping.

Pipe Material For Boiler Piping.

Pipe Material For Boiler Piping.

(OP)
Hi,
From my boiler manufacturer, i received piping bundle painted with primer. On those piping boiler manufacturer wrote only material type, like..SA-53B, SA-106B. There is not heat number or other data marked on it!
The boiler manufacturer insiste me to use those piping as is! Those piping will be used as boiler drain and other boiler piping!
I need you experts input that, IS This Marking Enough to be acceptable?
Please provide me Code reference based on it, i will accept it or reject it? If want to accept, what i will have to do with reference to ASME Code? Please provide me your input with code reference for this situation.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Pipe Material For Boiler Piping.

For boiler external piping material under B31.1 Power Piping, the marking as you describe is adequate. See B31.1, section 123.1.6.

RE: Pipe Material For Boiler Piping.
