Does anyone have any idea why my FEA simulation results come out with element size, aspect ratio, skew and mesh instead of being the parameters I've selected in the solutions dialogue box under the results tab? (i.e. temperature, velocity, heat transfer coefficient)

Thanks

RE: FEA Results

Most likely the solve failed to complete, check the log files for possible reasons.

Thanks very much for your reply. By the log files I assume you mean clicking on Help > NX Log Files? In which case do you have any suggestions for the kind of thing to look out for? It seems to be a very very long document full of things which would mean something to a computer but not to me! (for example &MACRO BEG_ITEM 74579968 (1 OPTM 0) = 2 ! Field )

RE: FEA Results

Are we talking about an NX Nastran sim here ?

RE: FEA Results

(OP)
No, NX Thermal/Flow

RE: FEA Results

The .log file in the same folder as your .fea & .sim files would be a good place to start.
