missing extension lines (drafting)

missing extension lines (drafting)

(OP)
Morning all- I've a new issue for you. It's not a huge problem, I can "fudge it" by adding lines, but sometimes when I'm dimensioning a part, one of my extension lines will be missing.

It seems to be random, and when I check dimension style settings everything seems to be in place- is this a common issue?
the attached picture shows what I'm talking about, when making these two dimensions i used infer dimension, clicked two ends of the complete dimension to add that, then straight onto the other- which has a missing extension.

Kind regards
Simon

RE: missing extension lines (drafting)

When there are missing, extraneous, or distorted graphics objects, the first thing to look at is your graphics system. Are you using a computer that uses integrated graphics? These seem to cause a lot of problems and are not recommended.

If you are not running integrated graphics, is your computer/graphics card/graphics driver certified by GTAC? If not, that is probably the culprit. If so, you can contact GTAC and report it as a problem; they may be able to help you resolve it.

What exact version of NX are you running ? See Help - About - System Information and read the first three lines.

Tomas
