Surface Modelling in Solidworks

Surface Modelling in Solidworks

Surface Modelling in Solidworks

(OP)
Hi, I'm a bit stuck on trying to cap the edge of my design.

My design is a organic shaped handle and I 'am trying to model the the edge part which is a dome , but so far I 'am struggling to achieve this. trying to get the same style of end piece as the picture i have been using. I have acheieved the design so far by drawing different planes along the to scale picture and then surface lofting between the planes which have the different radi's on .

The idea after is to make the end part and then thicken the part to create and solid handle.

If any one nows or has an idea of how i could achieve this any help would be great.

cheers,

Can you attach the file here?
I would do the end(s) first as that would give you more control over the tangencies rather than lofting to a sketch profile.
