Journal Help please!

Journal Help please!

Journal Help please!

(OP)
Hi Everyone,

I have downloaded a journal from someone on an old post, and managed to modify it to add it additional lines on the table and change the heading etc, put i can't for the life of me change the call out it assigns to the points you pick. We work with OTP not PT, so the program at the moment assigns pt1, pt2 etc to the point, whereas i need it to read OTP1, OTP2 etc.

I have very little knowledge of editing this sort of thing, but with a bit of playing managed to change the original one i downloaded.

Can anyone help me please?

Secondly does any one know of one the i could you that will pick hole centres to do a hole table, we don't have the functionality for hole table on our system.

Cheers in Advance

RE: Journal Help please!

The line you need to change is in the AddNoteToPoint subroutine (line 195):

CODE

text1(0) = "PT" & id.ToString

change the highlighted portion to the label you want.

What version of NX are you running? In some versions, the hole table functionality is there, but you may need to set an environment variable to access it.

Cool I'll check it out, thanks. It's NX 7.5, you can see it in command finder, but we do have restricted licenses.
