Are there any guidelines as to where you would use a K, T or N link fuse? For example, does one type offer better protection for transformer protection?

RE: medium voltage fuse selection

I seem to recall some guides from S&C and Cooper, but I don't have any references handy. With our clients, T links are far more common, with a couple of outfits using K links. The main issue is to be consistent and stick with all one type to minimize coordination issues. We generally recommend T links as the best overall compromise.
