Shaded With Edges - but no tangency lines

Shaded With Edges - but no tangency lines

Shaded With Edges - but no tangency lines

(OP)
Hi,
I am looking for a halfway-house betweeen smooth shaded view with no face edges shown and shaded with face edges which shows up all the tangency lines in the body. I am using NX7.5 and have looked in Preferences/Visulisation but can't seem to get what. Basically I want a nice smooth looking model with no tangency lines, but with sharp edges and free edges delineated.
It would be great if anyone has any ideas.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Shaded With Edges - but no tangency lines

Maybe experiment with the changing color of the edges to see if it gives the result that you want.
preferences-> visualization -> visual

or utilize true shading and specify no face edges
