NX 6.0 Assembly Components don't load

NX 6.0 Assembly Components don't load

NX 6.0 Assembly Components don't load

(OP)
When opening an assembly, NX 6.0 does not load the components located in other folder.
I do select "As Saved" option in "Reference Sets" in "Assembly Load Options".
Still components are not loaded, even though UG know where they are:
"Assemblies" -> "Reports" -> "List Components" produce a list with correct locations of the components.
When trying to enable the component, I just get an standard error message "Failed to find fiel using current search options, part left unloaded".

Also,
If for some illogical reason UG doesn't see the file, can I point UG to the file. Or I have to delete and insert new component all over again?

TIA

RE: NX 6.0 Assembly Components don't load

Try opening up the components it can't find first, and then the assembly
You may be able to decipher what the problem is from there.

RE: NX 6.0 Assembly Components don't load

The "As saved" option in the reference set portion of the dialog box only pertains to what reference set will be used by default once the part gets loaded. You want the "As saved" Load option. In NX8 it is the first option in the Part Versions section of the dialog (very top of the dialog if all sections are expanded); if memory serves, it is in the same (or very similar) location for NX6.
