Analyze Heat generated by Friction

Analyze Heat generated by Friction

Analyze Heat generated by Friction

(OP)
Hi,

I'm trying analyze the heat generated by friction between two speciments (moving pin and a fixed plate) and the transfer and distribution of the heat in the speciments.
So far I created the parts and assembled them together. I think the key element to the analysis is the right choice of procedure type in the Step module and the element type in the Mesh module. I chose coupled-temp displacement for both. I also created a surface-to-surface interaction between both speciments with frictional properties and heat generated through friction. The simulation works, but I can't see any heat generated. I atttached my cae-file. I hope you guys can help me to find the mistake.
Thanks!
