How to use "Slope of curve" and "Point on string" constraints?
How to use "Slope of curve" and "Point on string" constraints?
(OP)
Hello,
This is a puzzle for me. In sketcher I've found 2 constraint types that I can't figure out how to use. One is called "Slope of curve" and the other "Point on string".
Please advise.

RE: How to use "Slope of curve" and "Point on string" constraints?
As for the 'Point on String', this is similar to a 'Point on Curve' except that it is not limited to only a single curve but rather will follow a set of adjoining curves which would allow the 'point' to move from one curve segment to the next as IF it were a single curve.

Just a few side caveats, if others have trouble: for the "Slope of Curve" constraint, it only applies if the studio spline type is by points (not by poles). And for the "Point on string", it only applies to a set of connected curves first created with the Project Curve command.
