Assembly editing and adding views

Assembly editing and adding views

Assembly editing and adding views

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I have a drawing I'm working on. the file structure in the assembly is such:

File name
-part01
-part02
-assembly file
--xxxx
--xxxx
--part01
--part02

well in the drafting section, part 01 & part02 listed atop are being used for the detailing. Deleting these parts in assembly navigator will remove the views. They want me to delete those 2 files in assembly navigator and use views with the sub-part01 & sub-part02 under the assembly file. I am having a problem figuring out how to add those views and then reassociate some of the dimensions that are left after deletion. Can anyone help me somehow? Thanks in advance.

I figured it out.

Sorry but your question is a bit difficult to understand without an example.
I guess that's why nobody has replied.

Regards,
Tomas
