Smoothing Imported Surfaces
Smoothing Imported Surfaces
(OP)
I have 'inherited' a model of a nylon part, roughly 3" x .75" x .5". It has some faces that should be blended (see attachment). Cutting between each face would provide a Frankenstein-esque part. Most of the dimensions on the faces, radii and edge placement, are not critical.
I just want to blend the faces, and so far, none of the surface commands are getting the job done. I tried knitting the surfaces and it did not help. Any ideas?

Basically it involved creating a solid which encased all the problem faces & edges, then deleting the faces of the solid to leave clean edges. The Surface-Fill tool was then used to create a smooth surface.
