Identify six-lead delta induction motor

Identify six-lead delta induction motor

Identify six-lead delta induction motor

(OP)
I have a three phase, 150HP - 600V, 1750RPM, delta, single speed, induction motor.
All six leads have lost their indentification.
I am looking for advice how to identify the start and end leads for T1-T6, T2-T4, T3-T5 with an ohmmeter.
I have forgotten the technique, my twelve year-old school books are 3000km away and I don't want to (possibly) mess up.

cheers for the link, should work for me.

RE: Identify six-lead delta induction motor

Isn't it T1-T4, T2-T5, T3-T6 ?
Anyway the battery method is okay. I've used it myself to identify mis-identified 3-phase lead wires.

Your numbers look like the NEMA numbering scheme, SparWeb.
