Show finished part inside Raw Material

Show finished part inside Raw Material

(OP)
Hi guys,

Do you guys know if it is possible to show a finished part in its raw materials. So, for example I want to take the finished part and show it suspended in the forging or casting that I'm making the part out of. How would I even go about doing such as thing?

Thanks!

RE: Show finished part inside Raw Material

Just locate the two bodies so that they share the same space and then change the translucency of the outer body to something like 60% so that you can see the other body 'suspended' inside it, sort of like incasing something in a block of 'Lucite'.
