Hello all,

I am searching for information on thrust blocks which are used to support retaining walls, however I can't find anything online only
thrust blocks for pipelines. Does anyone know where I could find information on this particular subject?

Kind Regards,
1Mp.

RE: Information on Thrustblocks required

Do you mean a shear key?

I am not sure if there's another name referred to thrust blocks and if that might be the reason I cannot find more resources.
But this pdf file contains a diagram of the purpose of thrust blocks in the first page - http://www.cfms-sols.org/sites/default/files/manif...

Any .pdf file / article / or books about thrust blocks would be very helpful to me.

RE: Information on Thrustblocks required

Search for raker heel blocks or raker footings instead.

Thanks Erdbau for providing an alternative terminology however inputting this into the search engines sadly reveals no information as well.
Anything in particular you could link me to?
