Describing special threads

Describing special threads

(OP)
Where can I find guidelines for properly describing threads on a drawing. For example; describing a 11/16-24 UNEF-2B with a major diameter of .665. In other words, I would like to use nominal thread specifications with a reduced major diameter. Again, i am more interested in finding out where to find the guidelines than I am in solving this example. Thanks in advance.

RE: Describing special threads

ASME B1.1 defines how to specify and designate "SPL" or special thread forms.
