added new base view but there is nothing on it. any clues? (UG NX 7.5)

(OP)
i created a new specification file from my UG part and when trying to add a view nothing shows up. i checked the reference set (model) and the part is selected when i click on it. The part shows in the tree in UG under the specification file but for some reasons the part does not show in the space so when i add a new view the view is empty. i have tried to reset layers and creating a new specification file but still finding same problesm.

can anybody help on this issue?

it is happening with every new specification file I try to create so maybe I modified some of my settings unintentionally.
Thanks for the help in advance!

RE: added new base view but there is nothing on it. any clues? (UG NX 7.5)

i fixed the problem. did not find exactly what was wrong but this is how i fix it.
since part part was not showing up in the specification file (Drawing) i just select the part in the tree and hit DELETE.
after that i wento Assemblies->components->add components and search for my part again and there you go now the part can be seen in my drawing.

hopefully this helps someone or even better! hopefully this only happens to me. :)
