RE: Distance between text and line

Hi Cubalibre00,
In case you wish to attach the text annotation to another annotation then it is very much possible (associatively). For this while placing the text you can use OFFSET CHARACTER in the origin tool (the spacing offsets will be a multiple of the text character size).
In case you wish to attach it to a edge/line then there is a workaround (associative) possible (if acceptable to you).i am attaching a video herewith.
In case you just wish to do it in a non-associative way then you can do it straightaway using origin tool/drag/point constructor and select the point (using inferred setting) on line first and then use OFFSET option below and set it to rectangular and type in the offset values as required. This will set the origin of the text at the specified values relative to the selected point. The only drawback ...is that it is not assocaitive as it seems to create a fixed point.
Best Regards
Kapil Sharma
