Vendor Question

Vendor Question

Vendor Question

(OP)
Hi all,
Vendor asked on vessel general arrangement dia-gram, "client to specify demister pad" what this mean and how to reply.
NB:vendor location in Canada and he is manfacturing oil and gas separators for us.
Thanks

RE: Vendor Question

Demister pads are available in a variety of materials, densities, and removal efficiences. The vendor may not be responsible for the process and is asking you to specify a demister that is compatible with your process.

RE: Vendor Question

Contact demister vendors and get their input. Pressure drop dictates the design for the most part.
