Submitting job, nothing happens

Submitting job, nothing happens

Submitting job, nothing happens

(OP)
Hi.

Im using Abaqus CAE 6.12 to analyse a bolted steelconnection. The model worked fine when running it a couple of times and I tried to refine the mesh to see the difference in results before running it the third time. Suddenly, when submitting the job, nothing happens and the job won't stop when killing it. I've read through the forum and tried deleting the .log- and .lck-files from temp in addition to restart det program. How can I fix this?

RE: Submitting job, nothing happens

What happens if you start the job through command line? Try the "abaqus interactive job=jobname" command and post the output. Maybe you are not getting access to licences. What do the log, sta and msg files say?

RE: Submitting job, nothing happens

Hi,
If the job is running, kill it through the task manager.

If it still says (running) you can copy the job and just delete the old one.

Best regards,
S

Thanks!

When I tried running it from command i got: "standard" licence request queued for the Licence server for 1s, 31s, 61s and so on. then after a while it just worked.

Probably some issues with the licence access then?

RE: Submitting job, nothing happens

yep, someone else is using the licence, when their job stops, yours start.
