Inserting defined subassembly into assembly

Inserting defined subassembly into assembly

Inserting defined subassembly into assembly

(OP)
Hello!

How can I insert one assembly (Assembly 1) that has defined mates into another assembly (Assembly 2) in such a way that all components of both assemblies are visible in a BOM?

I mounted assembly 1 in assembly file than go to "save as copy"/ assembly 2 and than iserted assembly 2 as component into assembly one but this is not good solution.

RE: Inserting defined subassembly into assembly

Use an indented BOM or maybe a parts list.

I try indented BOM and now all the parts are listed separatly for both assemblies.

The number of same positions are not added up but there is for example "NUT M10" Qty.22 -- listed twice.
