Allowable displacement boundary condition

Allowable displacement boundary condition

(OP)
Hi. Im currently modeling a crossbow in Abaqus, and im new to this application, so I need some help with the BCs.

How do you create a boundary condition that allows a certain displacement in a certain direction?
I can only find a fixed boundary condition in the Load module. I want to allow for instance 1 mm displacement in Z direction.

thank you!

RE: Allowable displacement boundary condition

BCs > Mechanical displacement/rotation

Best regards,
S
