ASME VIII, Div 1 Vessel Internal Projection

(OP)
I have a LWN nozzle in a 1.625" thick head for an ASME VIII, Div 1 pressure vessel. The vessel is a small diameter that is difficult to get inside and put an internal weld bead on the inside projection.

My question is this:

1.) Can you take credit for nozzle internal projection in the reinforcement calculation without having a fillet weld on the inside of the vessel? (i.e.: the nozzle would be welded from the outside only).

Thank you very much for your time.

RE: ASME VIII, Div 1 Vessel Internal Projection

Yes, provided is a full pen weld.
Cheers,
