Hi all. at my shop we use pmi for gd&t and dims for our vendors. this is done in files on the modeling side. at some point we have to upload this .prt file and dwg dataset to the oem's system (dwg dataset is in the same item revision as the model with the same file number). when we do this everything is associative until we do a file pre check before file checking (this pre check has to be done). once we do the pre check it unassociates all pmi's. oem requires pmi's on layer 8, which is done. oem requirements only file checks the model, not the dwg dataset. im thinking that if we convert the pmi's on model side to standard dims and notes on the dwg side before the file check, we might be ok. does anyone know if and how this can be done or if theres another way? any help is greatly appreciated.
thanks
