Linked featuers in model reference set

Linked featuers in model reference set

Linked featuers in model reference set

(OP)
Hi, I have hopefully a simple question someone can answer. I am running NX8 (though I've had this issue in previous versions of NX also), and whenever I wave link a geometry feature into a part, it automatically becomes part of the "model" reference set for that part. Is there a preference setting or somewhere where I can prevent this from happening so I don't have to always adjust my reference sets after wave linking? Thanks for any help!

RE: Linked featuers in model reference set

DLH81,

Customer default: Assemblies-> Site Standards -> Reference Sets -> System Reference Sets -> Model Reference Set -> "Include Wave Linked Bodies" (off)

(Or, search for "Assemblies_ModelReferenceSet_IncludeWAVE")

This was implemented in NX 4.0

HTH, Joe
