Pipe work estimate

Pipe work estimate

In terms of estimation or norms does anyone have any to had about pipework installation per linear metre plaese? It is just for installation and I can factor it up myself based on size/ material if you tell me the cost of iinstallation per meter. All material will be provided apart from consumables.
Many thanks. I did have a copy of norms from my old company but they got lost in cyber space.
Thanks

Hi thanks for the reply. However I just need someones estimation per linear meter and what it is specific to and then I can factor it around my self depending on the schedule of pipe etc. I just want to get a rough idea of something

RE: Pipe work estimate

Installation costs depend on what is involved in the installation. For spoolable composite pipe that I can plow in and don't need an open ditch, I'm seeing 90% material cost, 10% labor cost. For traditional steel pipe I see 40% material, 60% labor. For stick HDPE or FRP I see 10-20% material and 80-90% labor.

The materials prices vary too much with time and location to provide a meaningful cost/unit length, but the ratios above hold up pretty well over a wide range of prices and locations.
