Bursting Disc for Medium Voltage Lead Boxes

(OP)
Is anyone familiar with installing bursting or rupture discs on medium voltage (4kV to 14kV for our plant) motor lead boxes? I have a project planned for this year and am having trouble finding any information on this being done before.

RE: Bursting Disc for Medium Voltage Lead Boxes

Never heard of that in the US.

I vaguely remember something like that might be the case in the UK (unless I imagined it). Maybe Scotty and others can chime in

RE: Bursting Disc for Medium Voltage Lead Boxes

I saw one for the first time a couple of days ago. If I am able in the next day or so, I'll try to get some specs from the motor.
