I'm using NX8. Unless I miss something, looks movable datum target symbol is not built in.
What about NX8.5?

RE: movable datum targets in NX8

Hi,
I am not aware if we have this symbol (ootb) in NX 8 and NX8.5 but you can use custom symbols to create one.

H Kapil,
Could you show me how to create it by using custom symbol?

RE: movable datum targets in NX8

Hi,
Hope this reply is not that late.Have you configured your Custom Library first? If yes then you can create a dummy drafting file.Create a sketch resembling the movable datum target symbol.Add two notes on the two halfes of the circle and then right click the identification symbols in the custom symbol (re-use library) choose add custom symbol and select these entities (do not exit the sketch however while selecting these) and now you can just drag and drop this symbol to any drawing when required (i am attaching an image herewith.Sorry i have no idea about the actual size parameters of the symbol so apologies if this is not sketched in right proportions)
If you have not configured your custom libarry as such then you can refer to the configuration doc file in UGII/SYMBOL/INSTALL TOOL.
Best Regards
Kapil Sharma
