LOCATING DRY TYPE TRANSFORMERS

(OP)
Hi Guys i am battling to find a 11000/ 550volt 50Hz 1600kVA Dry Type Dist Transformer ( comply with IEC60076-11)which must operate on Surface in an ambient temperature of 50 Deg C in South Africa in a coal dust environment. Any international contact persons such as ABB, Siemens , Italy etc would be appreciated.

RE: LOCATING DRY TYPE TRANSFORMERS

You're looking at a massive de-rating due to 50 deg C ambient. I'd suggest looking at a cast-coil transformer. Available from many suppliers. Some ABB info here:

Thanks guys i'll try them - I have a difficult client who wants vendors proof of type test certificates for the specific voltage and application before issuing a formal enquiry.
