Any sample manual calculation for pilecap design?

RE: Pilecap Design

Try the CRSI manual.

RE: Pilecap Design

You can perform your design at the most critical cross sections using the loads obtained from the analysis.

tq so much !

why a lot of example for truss analogy method shown until 4 nos. pile group only? how about 5 nos. pile group and above? not suitable to use the truss analogy method?

RE: Pilecap Design

Truss analogy (strut and tie) methods work for any arrangement of piles. The reason why you haven't found any examples is probably because it gets a bit cumbersome as more loads are introduced to the model. You can't use a cookbook for everything.

RE: Pilecap Design

If you don't understand how to do this, or how to use the example provided for your situation, perhaps you consult another engineer in your office.
