Is anyone familiar with Clamp Bolt standard?

Is anyone familiar with Clamp Bolt standard?

Gentlemen,

I hope this is the right forum to ask question about fastener.
On the enclosed picture I circled Clamp bolt. Does anybody know International/national/local/factory standard (or at least some sort of "cheat sheet")that regulates such fastener.
The idea is not to re-invent the bicycle, but to be able to order one using standard designation/part number, or to make one that is, at least theoretically, interchangeable with bolts already out there.
Thank you in advance.

RE: Is anyone familiar with Clamp Bolt standard?

That looks like a special. I don't recall ever seeing a standard for that. A quick flip through my IFI books turns up nothing similar.

CheckerHater,

That appears to be a lawn mower part. I am not aware of anything like that as a standard.

Thanks a lot,
Giving how much screws and bolts on the “special” page looked like off-the shelf items, I’ve had some hope.
Also, I am in possession of very similar piece coming from different industry; so there might be some recommendation, something from textbook or manual, not the real standard.
Nevertheless, if nothing else pops out, negative result is result as well.

Drawoh,
I thought that page was from bicycle catalog, not lawnmower.
Actually, the bolt starts looking more and common smile

RE: Is anyone familiar with Clamp Bolt standard?

You may be thinking of old-school bicycle crank sets with cotter bolts to hold the cranks to the bottom-bracket shaft.

But those were either conically tapered, with the "bite" taken out of the shaft, or cylindrical with a tapered face.

CheckerHater,

I Googled "Scott Bonnar", and I found lawn mowers. "Bottom blades" could make for an interesting bicycle. Maybe they make salami slicers, beard trimmers and Ben Hur chariots as well.

I never thought about what we called bicycle king pins. As MintJulep notes, they are tapered, and I don't recall a circular chunk out of them.

Wow, good work, Sherlock!

On the good side, I can just design the heck out of this bolt to my liking!

Thank you Compositepro!
