cleaning of ferritic stainless tubes in a S&T h/x

(OP)
Dear Gents,
we face the problem of having to clean one inch A268 Tp410 tubes. The tubes are rusty within (and nice and shiny outside), and we have no idea what might have caused the rust. Now they are built into three s&t exchangers and wait for despatch, but obviously we would not want to cause any harm to anything downstream of our exchangers once they get installed. But we are not quite sure what material can these ferritic tubes be cleaned with, without damaging the MoC, and what concentration and for how long etc. I wonder if someone with more experience in use of such material grades can help with a tip.
Many thanks in advance
Peter
