Advanced simulation - stress analysis on assemblies

Advanced simulation - stress analysis on assemblies

Advanced simulation - stress analysis on assemblies

(OP)
I've tried to run a stress analysis on a assembly but I couldn't, I can only select bodies, not a whole assembly.
Does anyone know how to perform a stress analysis on assemblies?? (I used stress wizard, with nx nastran design)

NX 7.5

Best regards

RE: Advanced simulation - stress analysis on assemblies

Hi,
I guess Stress Wizard works on a single body only (or may be multiple solid bodies in a single part file ...not sure if it does that).
So in case it works on multiple bodies then you can try bringing all the components in a single part file through wave linking.
I would recommend you use NX Nastran (Advance Simulation). And also make sure that Stress Wizard can run on multiple bodies (i thought it might work on a single body only)
Best Regards
