Nx 8 merge faces options?

Nx 8 merge faces options?

Nx 8 merge faces options?

(OP)
Hello,

just started with Nx 8 from SW. I am doing with Sheet metal and when creating a drawing from newly created part, I get some lines that do not want.
On newly created part there are lines from faces - radius - where flange is created, ... I just want to have bent lines on drawing. If you have experience with SW there is an option called Merge faces,... and result are just bent lines in flatten stage.

Probably there is some option which I can not find bigsmile

OK, I found it, ... its Turn Off ---> Smooth edges.

But there is problem now, when I export part to DXF or DWG format, ... and when open in another program, this smooth edges lines are still present. Also if I modify lines which should be hidden to dashed in Nx, in Autocad those lines are not dashed,...

RE: Nx 8 merge faces options?

The 'Smooth Lines' option is for Drafting views only. It has no effect on what gets exported or not, unless you're exporting the Drawing itself.
