I have a downhole tool that im using 3 screws at 120deg to hold the tool together. The threads are 10-32 and the supporting diameter is .375. They screw into a HS nitronic50, so galling is something to consider. Nitronic60 is good for anti galling. I havent found a toughness charpy test, but I believe it is high. The tool doesnt have to be Nace certified, but I want to use the most corrosion resistant material I can. My question is....if I use a level 3 nit60, which has a yield strength of 130ksi, does the corrosion resistance suffer dramatically from cold working? The annealed NIT60 has good corrosion resistance, but needed a little higher yield strength than the annealed. I havent worked much with nitronic 50 either, so im not sure what materials I can screw into the nit50 that galling would not be a factor. Also, ive heard that nit60 is tough to machine. Any input on that would also be great.

How about cold worked 625?
At high strength these alloys are not bad to machine.
But then you are rolling the threads, correct?
Use a good anti-seize on the threads either way.
