Edit Model in Assembly
Edit Model in Assembly
(OP)
Hi Guys,
I am having trouble to modify model in assembly mode. I have 2 parts in the assembly and the corner rad's are interfering each other, please see the attached picture. I would like to know if there is any option I can apply to allow trimming the part in Green color to fit in the rad of 2nd model.
Hope this make sense.
regards
Rodney

Thanks
RE: Edit Model in Assembly
Child feature will also get deleted if the parent child is deleted so if you delete the wave linked body the trim operation will also fail.In case you intend to get rid of the wave linked body completely then the best you can do it is to REMOVE ALL PARAMETERS from the final trimmed body using EDIT/FEATURE/REMOVE PARAMETERS and then delete the wave linked body.
If in case you just want to severe the association between the parent and the child wave linked body then break the link of the wave linked body and make it non-associative.
