Hello,
I'm trying to find a solution to adding a picture to a surface or plane in UG NX7.5.
Is this possible?

RE: Adding a picture to surface or plane in modeling, NX7.5

yes look for the decal option. view -> visulization -> decal

After it's applied, shouldn't it display? I have tried multiple times, but it's not showing up.
It does, however, show up as a material in Resource_Bar-> Materials_in_part.

Hi,
Are you using STUDIO DISPLAY for rendering? I hope you are not using shaded mode.
Best Regards

Nope, I don't have the studio display available. Is it not possible with shaded display?

RE: Adding a picture to surface or plane in modeling, NX7.5

How to display in (master model) drawing view?

RE: Adding a picture to surface or plane in modeling, NX7.5

'Decals' only show when using Studio Display, which is not supported on a drawing. The best you can do for a drawing is to capture an image, such a jpeg, while you're in Studio mode and then add it as an 'Image' to your drawing sheet.
