Trim 2

(OP)
I require gate valve WCB body with trim 2. I am getting offer with the below specs:

wedge: WCB+304
Stem: F304
Seat: A105+304

When I had a look in to API 600 for trim 2, it mentions the below for seat:
A 351 (CF8) in cast form or A182 (F304) in forged form. I am confused why the manufacturer is offering A105+304 for seat. He is saying he has offered as per trim 2, but I do not understand how & he does not give a proper reason. Can any one help me.

RE: Trim 2

Ask the supplier both for reasons and drawings with details.

RE: Trim 2

API 600, API 603, and API 602 also allow weld deposited 304 on the seats to meet trim 2 requirements which is what it appears your drawing is implying.
