Steady state heating pipe + Transient cooling

Steady state heating pipe + Transient cooling

(OP)
Hi guys,

Im stucked trying to model a very simple FEA, I need to heat up a pvc pipe applying air convection load, to find time needed to.

I did and steady state axisymetric model, and apply a Surface Film and initial temperature by a predefined condition, but looks like the temperature never reach the goal, even if I increase time, or film convection coefficient.

Can somebody guide me on it, also how can I find the time to reach a temperature in abaqus?

Then I need to create a new transient step to cooling down it, again I need to find the time needed to reach that condition, by a forced convection water.

I appeciate the guidance you can give me.

Regards
