WFI CIRCULATION LOOP
WFI CIRCULATION LOOP
(OP)
Hello,
We are installing a new water for injection distribution loop in a reaserch laboratory, the tank is 200 liters with a circ pump of 1000 lit/hr. All points of use require ambient (25 C) temperature water.
Should we install a hot circulation (80-85 C) loop with cooling at the points of use? or can we circulate at ambient and sanitize at the end of each day with steam, the system is drained copletely at the end of each day.
regrds,
roker

RE: WFI CIRCULATION LOOP
My hunch is that daily sanitizing will have higher cost of operation and may have a greater risk of failure.
This calls for detailed PFMEA.
