Lab software--soils and concrete
Lab software--soils and concrete
(OP)
As i noted in another thread, I am new to the forum, but not to the industry. I have working in the geotechnical field for over 30(!!) years. However, my recent experience has had me in other types of inspections. Now that i am returning to my geotechnical roots, I need some help selecting software for the lab--both soils and concrete. We do the fairly routine testing, Soils-classifications, and Proctors, and for concrete, we need to track and report on concrete compression tests--up to 100 cylinders a day. I need something to reduce the time spent on the concrete tracking and reporting. Since my time away, thing have changed.
What software are you experienced with, and what do you recommend--or NOT recommend?
Thanks.

You might take a look at these. I have some experience with geosystems, but not the other. As with most generalized software systems, you'll have to customize to match your reporting and operations.

RE: Lab software--soils and concrete
I used ( and cursed) geosys a few years ago. I have heard that they made significant improvements recently.
