SW2013 Custom properties deleting

SW2013 Custom properties deleting

(OP)
We've had several instances of custom properties being deleted from part files. These properties are part of the part templates, and are used to fill out drawing fields. Not only are the values in the custom properties deleted but also the property name is deleted. We pull our templates from a single network location, specifically for this version of SW13. I've used similar templates going back to SW2000 with no problems, so this is new with this version. We are on service pack 0.0

I'd appreciate feedback from anyone that's had a similar occurrence. Regards, Diego

Chris, the templates are fine. This is happening with individual part files, saved either on the network or locally. The templates haven't seen any of this effect of deleted custom properties. So far this is only happening with files created in SW13, and only a couple times. Several of these were from separate projects and users, with no common network folders. The only commonality has been the common part template.

Weird and frustrating for the users. Diego

RE: SW2013 Custom properties deleting

I'm not running SW13 yet. But, are you using PDM Enterprise?
I had heard from a couple users at our parent company that there are some settings that may cause this?
