Reference Planes
Reference Planes
(OP)
I'm trying to change the orientaion of my reference planes for an assembly. I need to replace an assembly in another file with this assembly and the oriention of the reference planes are such that if I replace the assembly, it will be on it's side. I want to change the reference planes so that when I replace the asm it fits in perfectly like the last one. I am using ST4 and any help would be great.
Thanks,
Thanks,

RE: Reference Planes
If your part/assembly is grounded in the higher level you can change orientation with occurrence properties, or delete the ground constraint and mate the planes as required.

RE: Reference Planes
Remember that a co-ordinate system has 3 planes as well as the 3 axes.
