RE: Open a dropdown menu by flying over the first icon

Can you be a bit more clear as to what you mean by "open a dropdown menu by flying over the first icon"? Can you provide a reference to some piece of software where one could experience this behavior?

Hi John,

I don't know is another software is offerring this functionnality.

Have a look at the video. You can see my toolbar with a lot of dropdown menu.

When I fly over the first icon, it's name appear, then I click on the arrow to open the dropdown menu. I would like to avoid this click, like the rest of the mouse displacement.

I hope to be clear.

Well that's not a drop-down 'menu' even though we do call it a 'drop-down', but it's just a way of collecting several common icons under a single icon basically to save space on the toolbar. However, knowing how the User Interface is going to evolve over the next couple of releases, even if you do open an ER requesting this behavior, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it to be implemented sad
