Load transfer in shear joints

Load transfer in shear joints

Load transfer in shear joints

(OP)
Hello;
If we consider a riveted single lap shear joint where the load transfer will occur by friction between plates (due to clamping load) and bearing of the bolt. What is for you the best way to determine the part of load that is transmitted by bearing and the one by friction using abaqus? (I'm using NFORC for doing this right now but I think there must be a more clever way to do)

Thanks
